A friend of mine just posted this as her status update sometime back !!! it got me to thinking , since when being friends means taking sides, if we don't concern ourselves with the world wars, the axis and the the allies sections in world politics. i don't think that FRIENDS should have common Enemies !!!

I respect you , love you, adore you dear friend, but just because you had a misunderstanding with someone who is also known to me, i should not be made to choose amongst you or them !!!
In all actuality i have never been able to completely decipher the intricacies of this social relationship which we form on each level of our lives with different individuals and we term it as friendship, if we are lucky we may find an individual who may click with us at all these social levels and end up becoming a true friend who understands and syncs with you at all levels of your existence... but alas those are very few!!!

But we do have friends and in respect to them if we are supposed to decide whom to be friends with anymore or not , being made to choose is the worst thing you can do to your friendship... but shouldn't our so called FRIENDS also respect our choices and not expect us to choose. yes we should be careful feelings and emotions in these regards and i believe if you have an ounce of brain and some courage and lots of love , you can manage to be a friend with your friend's enemy ....

but if not then its better to follow Mr. Lincoln's advice - and take an easier way out !!!!
